Nordic ID Merlin has a fast, best-in-class RFID reader for professional use with high antenna gain and transmission power, excellent directivity and receiver sensitivity. It is designed for ruggedness and reliability, and built to operate all day long on a single charge.

The Nordic ID Merlin is built on the Nordic ID PL3000 -series by incorporating new technology and high-performing components. This robust and outdoors usable mobile computer is future-proof and backwards-compatible. Its software is compatible with the Nordic ID Morphic, in addition to the Nordic ID RF-series, allowing for mixed use of the devices.

The hardware is easily controlled: there is no need to study various styles of drivers or different ways to implement functionality in different languages. Nordic ID MHL
abstraction layer simplifies the communication between hardware and drivers. The Windows CE 6.0 operating system is customizable and does not require you to use a standard interface.
